Part 1 U.S. Government Organizations
After Registration

Changes in Registration
Information
U.S. Government users must notify DTIC® in writing of any changes to their current DD Form 1540, such as changes to organization name, address, telephone number, email address, individual's name, etc.

U.S. Government users must complete a new DD Form 1540 to upgrade their type of access to DTIC information or to make changes to their subject fields and groups; or if the form on file with DTIC contains the approving official's signature, the approving official can send a written request for the changes to DTIC.

Continuation of
Service
U.S. Government users receive a yearly notification form from DTIC approximately 60 days prior to their scheduled registration expiration date. The user recertifies by signing and returning the form to DTIC. Any changes to the registration information should be indicated on the notification form when it is returned.
