The agency's
Information Technology Steering
Committee provides advice and assistance to the Chief Information
Officer and other senior managers of the to ensure that information
technology (IT) resources are planned, and managed in a manner that
implements applicable legislation, including the Clinger-Cohen Act,
Paperwork Reduction Act, as well as policies, procedures and the
priorities established by the Board. In collaboration with
information stakeholders, the Chief Information Officer works to improve
the access to information thus enhancing its ability to meet mission and
business requirements. Consistent with the Clinger-Cohen Act, the
Strategic Information Resources Management Planning function
ensures effective and efficient management of RRB information technology
investments. The RRB has developed a
Strategic Information Resources
Management Plan (2000-2005) and
Capital Information Technology
Plan (updated annually) in support of the agency's Strategic Plan
and budget submission.
