What's New
A Message from the Institute
We are pleased to announce course updates, a new course, and several
other new training initiatives:
Updates and a New Course: All software courses have
been updated to the latest versions and a new course "Design for Newsletters" has
been added. For details on the Newsletter course see our course
list.
Tutoring: Standard or customized instruction for one-on-one
training or small groups is now available either onsite or at the Institute's
facility. If you cannot wait for scheduled classes or want more focused
instruction this service will provide the coaching necessary. Contact
the Institute for hourly rates.
Courses on CD and DVD: The Total Training line of CD's
and DVD's are now available through the Institute. Using these videos
students can now learn at their own pace. Over 30 programs presented
by top trainers cover the varied line of software from Adobe Systems
ranging from "Acrobat for Government" with Ted Padova to "Pagemaker" with
Deke McClelland Visit the Video-Based
Training section for details and ordering information.
On-line Information and Courses: The Institute through
IO Technologies is now offering on-line courses and the Infofind Professional
Library. Working experts in the field and instructors at top Graphic
Arts Universities prepared these items ranging from short info pieces
to individual classes to subscriptions. Subjects range from Image Halftoning
to The Color Reproduction Environment. Visit the on-line
course list for details and ordering instructions.
On-site Courses: As travel budgets shrink the Institute
is asked to do more and more on-site training. The classes listed in
our catalog and other subjects can be brought right to your employees.
Costs are surprisingly reasonable and agencies not having enough students
but having classroom/computer lab facilities available for sharing with
other government personnel will find the Institute willing to work with
them. Contact the Institute for details.
