FVAP provides training workshops for VAOs worldwide. There are two versions of the workshop. One focuses on the duties and responsibilities of VAOs in the Uniformed Services, while the other version is for VAOs at Embassies and Consulates as well as U.S. citizen organizations and corporations outside the United States.
The training highlights instructions for completing the forms, responsibilities of the VAO and the resources available to conduct a successful voting assistance program.
All attendees receive a certificate of completion after attending a workshop that can be placed in your VAO continuity folder.

FVAP has inaugurated an e-Learning initiative. This e-Learning process provides VAOs with a complete online training package similar to the workshops discussed above. The training is available to the Military and Federal Employees. Anyone else who would like this training can request a copy on CD-ROM from FVAP at vote@fvap.ncr.gov, subject: e-Learning CD.
The e-Learning site is http://www.golearn.gov. Here are the Instructions for using the GoLearn site. Once you have completed the training you will receive a certificate that you can place in your VAO continuity folder.
