    Data Management

The fourth element of the Board's strategy corresponds with the fourth "cog" of the Monitoring Framework, and emphasizes the critical role of data storage and retrieval. While laboratories supply initial data, well-configured and documented data records are needed for accurate interpretation and analysis of those data. Data Management has been recognized by the US EPA as one of the 10 basic elements of a State water monitoring program.
