Social Security Beneficiary Data

Background

Monthly Social Security benefits are payable from the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) Trust Fund and the Disability Insurance (DI) Trust Funds. Several types of benefits are paid from these two funds.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits are paid from the general fund of the Treasury.
