ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT FILINGCase Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) is the new automated case management and electronic docketing system for U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas. CM/ECF provides a new, easy-to-use electronic case filing feature that will make life easier for you by allowing you to file and view court documents over the Internet.
Deadline dates from today (10/14/2004)90 days = 1/12/2005 180 days = 4/12/2005 Current StatusTXEB's CM/ECF system for case management has been operational for over a year now and the electronic filing features have been available for over six months. As of April 2003, approximately 50% of all filings are paperless.Regularly scheduled training continues in each office. Access for CreditorsLimited access to file certain creditor-related documents via TXEB's electronic document filing facilities is now available to filers not admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Texas. Only Proofs of Claim, Creditor's Notice of Transfer/Assignment of Claim, Creditor's Withdrawal of Claim and Requests for Notice may be submitted under these new provisions. A completed Creditor Registration Application must be submitted to your CM/ECF trainer & proficiency with the Electronic Document Filing system must be demonstrated. Training may be required.
