Prevention 2003-2004 Competition
The Secretary’s
Award competition encourages health professions students across
the U.S. to pursue new ideas to promote health and prevent disease.
Students compete for cash awards by entering papers describing proposed
and/or implemented projects they have developed to meet course requirements
or as part of service learning or other academic experiences.
Cash awards
are presented for first, second and third places in two separate
categories: single discipline and interprofessional.
The
deadline for students to submit their entries to faculty sponsors
or designated officials at participating schools is February 13,
2004.
