MISSION
This mission of the Field Office is to provide onsite environmental and occupational health consultative support to USARAK, 611th ASG, and other eligible organizations to the extent possible and practicable, and to serve as a liason for additional services from USACHPPM Main and USACHPPM's CONUS and OCONUS Subordiante Commands to meet customer's needs.  The Filed Office servers as the primary point of contact for customer services provided by USACHPPM in Alaska.
VISION
The setup of the Field Office continues to evolve with the establishment of permanent staffing. The Field Office staff and the DEHE are very excited about this new venture and look forward to the challenges ahead. The current staffing for the Field Office includes one Department of the Army Civilian, one Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Professional Associate, and one contract employee. Ms. Debra Breindel recently accepted the position of Chief of the Field Office and reported for duty on March 2, 2002. The Office Chief is responsible for employee oversight, mentoring, and reviewing; performing as a liaison between both internal and external customers; participating in workgroups and committees; performing technical project work; and conducting other miscellaneous management functions.
