Directions to Western Region Center in Menlo Park, CA

From Bayshore Freeway (US 101) take the Willow Road exit west to Menlo Park. Drive 1 mile to Middlefield Road, turn right (north), drive 2 blocks, and you will see the USGS on the left (west) side of the street. Proceed to the main driveway and turn in at 345 Middlefield Road.

From El Camino Real (82), turn east on Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park. Drive to the T-junction at Middlefield Road, turn right, and proceed 2 blocks to the USGS main entrance at 345 Middlefield Road, on the right (west) side of the road.

To use public transportation on the Peninsula, take CalTrain to the Menlo Park Station, and then the SamTrans bus 6A to the U.S. Geological Survey. It's less than a mile from the train station to the Survey if you prefer to walk. To walk to the Survey, head south from the train station about 100 yards to Ravenswood Avenue. Turn left (east) and walk down Ravenswood Avenue about half a mile to Middlefield Road, turn right (south) and the Survey is on the right hand side of the street, at 345 Middlefield Road.
