Activity Highlights
Coordinating nationwide efforts to recover the federally threatened bald eagle
Provide expert leadership on fish and wildlife conservation efforts relative to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Upper Mississippi River navigation mission
Work cooperatively with the state of Illinois and Iowa to offset fish and wildlife losses from release of hazardous substances
Provide technical assistance for over 10,000-acres of fish and wildlife habitat restoration on private lands via the Wetland Reserve and Partners for Fish and Wildlife programs
Provide a coordinator to the Upper Mississippi River Conservation Committee which is dedicated to cooperative fish and wildlife management among the five border state of the Mississippi River
Developed a wildlife management plan for Savanna Army Depot as part of base closure plan
