Document last modified Wednesday, May 22 2002 Audited Financial Statements The Government Management Reform Act of 1994 (GMRA) broadened coverage of the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 to require Federal Agencies with all types of fund accounts to prepare audited financial statements beginning in FY 1996. The Office of Inspector General (OIG) contracts with an independent public accounting firm to conduct the audit of ACF's financial statements. ACF paid OIG for this service through an Interagency Agreement.
