Fight Fire with Facts

In order to more easily provide information to the media covering the fire, USFA developed a series of factsheets called Fight Fire with Facts. The factsheets cover children and fire, seniors and fire, appliance safety, alternative heater safety, escape planning, careless smoking and arson. Immediately after a fire, USFA faxes the appropriate information to the print and broadcast media in the area and follows up with the local reporters and editors.
