Through Fellowships and scientific exchange programs, NIDA seeks to increase opportunities for collaboration between NIDA-supported researchers and their colleagues in other countries.

The International Program also works closely with the Fogarty International Center at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), whose mission is to facilitate international cooperation throughout NIH.
