TRAVEL AWARD INFORMATION

The INVEST Program provides opportunities for drug abuse researchers from around the world to engage in scientific exchange with NIDA funded scientists. Through the INVEST Program, NIDA provides competitive travel awards to foreign scientists for selected meetings on drug abuse research in which NIDA is a major co-sponsor. Opportunities for 2004 travel awards and the selection criteria are described below.

There are two types of travel awards available for the 2004 NIDA International Forum:

2004 NIDA International Forum Travel Awards for researchers whose abstracts are accepted for an oral or poster presentation. These competitive awards will be restricted to non-U.S. researchers who are living and working in their home countries. Applicants may receive only one NIDA award in any 12-month period.

2004 WHO/NIDA/CPDD International Traveling Fellowships, as described in the Fall 2003 NIDA INVEST Letter. For information, click here.
