This request is for professional services (Land Surveying) for Buffer Zone Surveys. Required services will include Surveying various parcels of government owned property in the buffer zone of the John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC). SSC is located approximately 55 miles Northeast of New Orleans, Louisiana.
The contract will be a firm fixed price contract for land surveying with a start date within 60 days of this publication and a completion date within 180 calendar days. The NASA/SSC Architectural-Engineer Selection Board will apply the following significant evaluation criteria in relative order of importance, with criteria 3 and 4 being of equal importance:
1. Past performance of the firm in terms of quality of work, cost control and record of schedule completion as afforded the board by past clients.
2. Experience in the type of work as indicted on the firm's completed Standard form 254, with emphasis on profiles codes 002, 102
3. Staffing requirements in the required disciplines necessary to accomplish the work.
4. Qualifications/experience of key personnel assigned to the project.
5. Location of the firm within the geographical area.
Firms must file a new or have filed within one year to date of this notice, a standard form 254 with the NASA/SSC Engineering Services Division office. In addition, the firms must submit a Standard Form 255 which is post marked no later than 20 days after the date of this notice to be considered for selection.
Section 8 of the Standard Form 255 shall provide the name of the responsible individual, address, and telephone number for the contact of owners on prior contracts. No other general notification to firms under consideration for these services will be made and no other action is required.
