This is a modification to the synopsis entitled NASA LAUNCH SERVICES REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – EXPANSION OF PERFORMANCE RANGE TO INCLUDE SMALL CLASS LAUNCH SERVICES RFP10-99-0021-Rev-1 which was posted on March 12, 2004. You are notified that the following changes are made:
References in the previous synopsis to “RFP10-99-0021-Rev-1” are corrected to read “RFP10-99-0021-Rev-A” to be consistent with RFP identification.
The date for the RFP Pre-Proposal Conference at KSC, as listed in the previous synopsis, is changed from on or about April 6, 2004 to May 11, 2004. All companies who previously expressed interest in attending this Conference have been notified of the revised date and remain on the planned attendees’ list, and are not required to re-state their interest in response to this synopsis modification. All other companies interested in attending this Conference, or companies who previously responded and wish to change their attendance information or status, must advise the Contracting Officer (see Point of Contact information at the end of the synopsis) by no later than May 5, 2004. Companies who have questions regarding the RFP that they wish to have addressed at the Pre-Proposal Conference must submit the questions in writing to the point of contact listed below no later than 4:00 pm on May 3, 2004.
RFP10-99-0021-Rev-A is being issued on April 23, 2004, and will be electronically posted on this date. Refer to the March 12, 2004 synopsis for details on the RFP and the expansion of the NLS performance range to include small class expendable launch vehicle services. As stated in the March 12, 2004 synopsis, proposals are due 60 days from the date of RFP issuance (due June 22, 2004, 4:00 pm).
