NASA/GRC has a requirement for the conversion of current MP2 sortware system to their newly installed Datastream 7i multi-org work order software system.
NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Datastream Systems, Inc. This shall be a follow-on procurement to the procurement let with Datastream for the purchase and install of the Datastream 7i software. NASA requires this vendor to perform the migration of software data and training of GRC personnel in the use of the new software.
The Sole Source is under the authority of FAR reference 13.106-1(b)1.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in FAR Part 13.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 07/01/04.
Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
