Arcata Associates (Arcata/UNITeS) in support of of the UNITeS Prime Contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), intends to negotiate only with USG Corporation, the OEM for NX NASTRAN software licensed products, for various NX products and annual support.
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedure.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), as quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ located in the attached WORD 9.0 file, along with Arcata/UNITeS Commercial Terms and Conditions, and Reps and Certs are considered the RFQ Package. Interested parties have two (2) weeks from the publication date of this Synopsis/RFQ to submit their quotes to the undersigned at the Internet Address listed below. The Reps and Cert form must be completed and returned with your response unless proposing GSA pricing/terms and conditions. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation amendments (if any) at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin;= .
Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the Synopsis. A determination by Arcata/UNITeS to not award this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Arcata/UNITeS. Oral communications are not accepted in response to this Synopsis/RFQ.
