This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for maintenance services for computer software tools currently in use to design, develop and analyze aerospace systems. The technical computing software products offered by the MathWorks, Inc. as Release 14 satisfies these requirements. The products to be delivered in this procurement are described below.
(1) The individual MATLAB license number 29096 needs to be renewed to an end date of August 1, 2005.
(2) The individual MATLAB license number 172572 needs to be renewed to an end date of August 1, 2005.
(3) The group MATLAB license number 34709 needs to be renewed to an end date of August 1, 2005.
(4) The concurrent MATLAB licnese number 47069 needs to be renewed to an end date of August 1, 2005.

The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 01-24.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside.
The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 541511 and $21M respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
Delivery to George C. Marshall Space Flight Center is required within 2 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination.
The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.

Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement.
Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
