NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Human Resources & Procurement Offices (HRPO) Support Services resulting in a 5-year period of performance consisting of a 3-year base period with two 1-year option periods. The type of contract contemplated is a Labor-Hour Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26.
This procurement is a Comptetitive Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 8(a)set-aside and the the anticipated total value of the contract, including options, may exceed $5M [see FAR 19.805-1(a)(2)]
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541519 and $21M, respectively.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
The anticipated release date of the RFP is scheduled for on or about September 17, 2004 with a Preproposal Conference planned for October 13, 2004 at the Gilruth Recreation Center onsite at JSC. The anticipated offer due date is on or about February 1, 2005. No activity is planned during the holiday period from mid-November 2004 through mid-January 2005. All questions should have been answered by then.
