Description
 
NASA/KSC has a requirement for the following commercial items:

Mobile auto-pointing, auto stowing Satellite vehicle mounted Antenna system for high speed internet access. Hardware must be capable of supporting a data rate in the South Eastern United States of 1024 kb/s Uplink and 2048 kb/s Downlink. Initial Service - 1 year service contract at a data rate of 1024 Kb/s Uplink and 1024 kb/s downlink (or 512 kb/s Uplink and 2048 kb/s downlink) growable without hardware modification to 1024kb/s uplink and 2048kb/s downlink. Antenna system must be able to support a wind load of 140MPH stowed and 100 MPH deployed. System must automatically stow and lock antenna system if vehicle motion is detected.

Price must include installation on a NASA provided vehicle at KSC, Florida. System spec: (System below or equal) Inetvu Mobile 1.2 Meter Dish Antenna Inetvu Antenna pointing controller Idirect 4 Watt Block Uplink Converter (BUC) 512x2048kb/s. 1year Service Contract with Idirect Idirect Netmodem II Plus broadband Router All wiring and interconnecting hardware shipping to and installation at KSC, Florida.

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR Part 13.

An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".

The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
