This is a modification to the synopsis entitled "Readvertisement for an Invia Confocal Raman Microscope System," which was posted on Ausust 11, 2004. You are notified that the following changes are made:

(1) The response date for receiving bids is being extended through September 21, 2004; and

(2) Prior bidders, who responded to NNG04079674Q, can stand by their previously submitted proposal, so long as they extend the validity date of that previously submitted proposal, and so long as they clearly identify that previously submitted proposal.

The due date for responses is extended. All other terms and conditions of NNG04079674Q remain unchanged.
