Description

 

Arcata Associates (Arcata/UNITeS) in support of the UNITeS Prime Contract at MSFC, intends to negotiate, on an urgent and emergency basis, only with Business Objects Americas, or an authorized reseller of the OEM, to acquire certain Crystal Report Writer licensed products, support, implementation services, training, and expenses. Arcata intends to award a GSA Delivery Order or Commercial Purchase Order (whichever provides the best offer) in response to this urgent notification no later than 27 September 2004 to allow delivery of software and the beginning of services before 30 September 2004. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedure. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ), as quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ, which provides all technical requirements, is located in the attached WORD 9.0 file. Included are Arcata/UNITeS' Commercial Terms and Conditions and Representations and Certifications (which will be applicable only to a Commercial offer) and are considered the RFQ package. Interested parties have only 3 days from the publication date of this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to submit their quotes to the undersigned at the Internet Address listed below. If proposing a Commercial Offer, the Reps and Cert package must be completed and returned with your response. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation amendments (if any) at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin;= . Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis. A determination by Arcata/UNITeS to not award this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of Arcata/UNITeS. Oral communications are not accepted in response to this Synopsis/RFQ.
