Directpop.net is a software developement company that has developed the (VERGL) system, Verified Embedded Random Generated Link, a system that would be compliant with the visually impaired. The following is a brief description:
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention Mail-Block Technology using VERGL Verified Embedded Random Generated Link (s) relates generally to how a live person would accept and verify him or herself to avoid receiving (UCE) Unsolicited Commercial Email.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The internet has grown from a handful of users in the early 80’s to well over three billion people world wide using this electronic media to communicate. With this growth, problems have developed with someone’s ability to have and use their personal email box with out receiving hundreds of unsolicited email messages each day from people and places that information was not requested from.
Because of this action, several ideas have popped up to assist and prevent a personal email box from filling up with this advertisement and sometimes emails that carry harmful code to allow the sender to gain access to your personal computer and data files.
During our testing and development over the past years starting in early 1997 we developed a system and built this into a software package so to allow someone to verify if the sender was a real person and not a computer generated advertising or harmful act by people or groups wanting to mass send virus or other types of electronic communication to cause harm.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
We developed (VERGL) Verified Embedded Random Generated Link (s) VERGL allows the user to have their email system captured and held up to 14 days. The email from the sender has to verify if the sender is a person and not a computer sending a commercial automated electronic generated communication. VERGL sends a embedded html link with a random generated code embedded in the link to allow the sender the least amount of effort to verify him or her self and for the message to go through. This code allows for the possibility that software programmers and hackers would try to harvest this return message and automated the verification process. VERGL is design to detect when someone tries to circumvent the system and changes automatically the way in which the verification process is handled. VERGL also is designed to notify the administrator of the network in which it resides on of the possible attempt to penetrate the security of the email network.
VERGL allows a company to claim 100% Unsolicited Email Stopped by defining UCE as mail that is sent by computers using an automated process or program running to send multiple email messages at the same time.
Benefits of using a VERGL system is the user does not have to enter in his or her information, the user does not have to view a picture nor type in numbers from a GIF image displayed in the return email message. VERGL complies with Americans with Disabilities Act because the text and html code will work with the software systems currently on the market to aid and assist visually impaired people. No other system currently is designed to assist everyone. |
