CIBER'S Accessibility Center of Excellence (ACE) provides comprehensive and in-depth technology, law, and policy education and professional consulting services to ensure technology accessiblity for persons with disabilities. The ACE team has extensive knowledge of US Federal legislation including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, Section 255 of the Telecommunications Act, and other related Federal legislation and policies. The ACE Team is well versed in all of the current technology standards and guidelines related to accessibility for persons with disabilities, including the guidelines of the W3C/WAI.
The ACE Education Program includes Executive Briefings for both the Public and Private Sectors, Acessible Web Technical Training and Certification Programs, and custom technical classes including developing accessible files in MS WORD, PowerPoint, Excel and ADOBE PDF and creating accessible web sites with specific HTML authoring tools.
Service offerings include development and reviews of RFPS, SOWS and Proposals, Accessibility Information Technology Standards Development and Project Reviews, Quality Assurance for Websites and Products for Technology Accessiblity, Technology Compliance Remediation Services and Accessible Voting Services.
