d. Understanding, interpreting and implementing the Access Board's Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards developed in support of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended in 1998;
e. Understanding, interpreting and implementing the Access Board's Telecommunications Act Accessibility Guidelines developed in support of Section 255 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996;
f.Identifying the business benefits of accessible E⁢ Design . These sessions can help a company cost-justify enhancing the accessibility of their products and services without focusing on people with disabilities.
6. Evaluating, reporting and enhancing the functionality of software applications, web-based Inter/Intranet information, Inter/Intranet applications and multimedia products in support of:
a. Implementing the requirements of the Access Board's Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards;
b. Delivering the functionality described in the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 or 2.0 Draft; |
