Telephone Services

The ITD Telecommunications and Support Services Branch provides local telephone service for the ARS, CSREES, ERS and NASS employees located in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

The following ITD telecommunications specialists are responsible for providing telephone service:

The telephone services provided includes the following:

Prepare telephone orders or perform rearrangement of lines and phonesets in-house,
Evaluate existing telephone usage and recommend changes, as necessary,
Ordering new telephone lines (Voice, Fax or Modem),
Telephone line feature additions and changes (Call Forwarding, Call Pickup, International Calling, etc.),
Telephone line problems (no dialtone, features not working, broken phoneset, etc),
Ordering of telephone accessories (longer cords, new or replacement phonesets, etc.).
