The Public Affairs Office is the communications
link between the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command / U.S.
Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) and the public. Its mission is to serve as principal public
affairs advisor and support to the command and as USASMDC's point of contact
on public affairs matters for the Department of the Army, the Department of
Defense, and the Missile Defense Agency staffs. The office develops
USASMDC's public affairs policy and provides technical guidance to the
command's major subordinate elements. The Public Affairs Office plans and
directs programs in the areas of public information, clearance of materials
for public release, command information, and community relations. |
