Josefina G. Carbonell Helps Low-Income Latino Seniors and Persons

A series of bilingual forums that target low-income Latino seniors
and persons with disabilities is being co-hosted by the Denver
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Denver Housing Authority Denver
Health, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and the Latino/a
Research and Policy Center.
Josefina G. Carbonell, Assistant Secretary for Aging of the
U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) will be keynote speaker at
the first two forums aimed at educating individuals about the
Medicare-approved discount card program, which could amount to
$1,200 in discounts within an 18-month period.
