Bureau of Prisons Offices

While the primary business of the Federal Bureau of Prisons is operating correctional facilities, certain administrative, support, and policy functions are carried out by the Central Office, six regional offices, and two training centers.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons Central Office is located at 320 First St., NW., Washington, D.C. 20534. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Friday. For general information, call 202-307-3198.
