DON Hispanic Employment Achievement Award
The Advisory Council on Hispanic Employment (ACHE) was established in 1990 by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Civilian Personnel and Equal Employment Opportunity. Members are selected from among interested and motivated civilian employees (GS-13 and above) and military personnel (O5 and above). The members represent a variety of career fields, and come from many different commands and geographic locations.
The Council offers the Department of the Navy a unique perspective on the employment and advancement of Hispanics. Its members provide a link with the Hispanic community and support and enhance the Department's Hispanic employment objectives.
