PERFORMANCE AMERICA

The Performance America consortium provides Federal, State and local government agencies with the opportunity to work together to assess, track and compare their respective organizational performance against others, both inside and outside of government. Formed by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in response to such initiatives as the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), Performance America will meet agency needs in these areas, as well as enabling them to motivate and increase the productivity of their employees.

  • Based on data agencies collect with OPM's Organizational Assessment Survey
  • Provides information on 17 key dimensions linked to high organizational performance
  • Provides basis for effective action-planning and change implementation
  • Provides confidential access to comparative data from other consortium members
