Fiancé/e Visa (K)

The fiancé/e visa is designated for those people who intend to marry a U.S. citizen in the United States very soon. That U.S. citizen must file a petition (Form I-129F) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office nearest his/her home. Once the petition is approved by the DHS, it is sent to the Consular Section where the fiancé/e will apply for the visa.
