Scheduled Outage Notices
• ESTTA will be unavailable on Saturday, October 16, 2004 from 8:00am until 12 noon due to an upgrade to the ESTTA filing system. The upgrade will include the addition of two new electronic forms for filing changes to the correspondence address and consent motions in inter partes cases.
• NOTE: If you are filing an extension of time to oppose on behalf of multiple potential opposers and against a single application, you must enter an extension request for each potential opposer. Failure to do so may result in an inaccurate calculation of fees upon the filing of a notice of opposition to the detriment of one or more opposers. See Trademark Rule 2.101.

Please choose one of the following options to start filing a form for
  • Notice of Opposition
    File a notice of opposition to registration against one or more applications.
    There is a fee for filing a notice of opposition.
  • Petition for Cancellation
    File a petition to cancel one or more registered trademarks.
    There is a fee for filing a petition of canellation.
  • Papers in Inter Partes  cases
    File motions, briefs, and other papers in opposition and cancellation proceedings.
    Most filings do not require a fee.
    DO NOT FILE CONFIDENTIAL PAPERS ONLINE. Confidential documents must be filed in paper, under separate cover. See Trademark Rule 2.126(d). more information
  • Notice of Ex Parte Appeal
    An appeal may be taken to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board from any final decision of the examiner in charge of the registration of marks.
    There is a fee for filing a notice of appeal.
  • Miscellaneous Ex Parte   Papers
    Misc EXA is a filing relating to an application involved in ex parte appeal proceeding pending before the TTAB.
    There is no filing fee associated with this form.
