Fun in Master Class in Seoul



June 2004: Seoul, Korea, and Beirut, Lebanon.
Yo-Yo Ma goes to Korea and Lebanon to meet music students, give Master Classes, and perform with local artists. See him teach and laugh with these youth here.

The Iraqi National Symphony returns March-April 2004! With a busy schedule in New York and Washington, D.C., the six-member delegation of INSO violinists and cellists took Masterclasses at the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and teamed up with Yo-Yo Ma's famous Silk Road Players, performing on April 8 at Carnegie Hall. Some visited Miner Elementary School in Washington, DC. See photos from their second visit.


Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra, Yo-Yo Ma and National Symphony Orchestra meet in Washington, D.C. for the first time.
Yo-Yo Ma and the National Symphony Orchestra joined the Iraqi National Symphony's first concert in America (December 2003). Playing beautiful pieces by Iraqi and Western composers, they enjoyed learning from each other. See a collection of photos from their visit here.
