Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Futures Program

The Department of Transportation ’s (DOT) Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Futures Program is aimed at ensuring that we have a workforce prepared for the technologically challenging jobs of the 21^st century. MARAD participation in this intermodal program is seen as an opportunity to help interest students of all ages across the nation in marine careers and help inspire and prepare them to be valuable contributors to building a strong merchant marine.
