Conservation Security Program Watersheds Announced

The St. Joseph River and the Auglaize River are two of the nation’s 18 priority watersheds to be selected for the USDA's newest program - the Conservation Security Program (CSP). CSP is designed to financially reward farmers and ranchers who are actively working to conserve natural resources on their lands.

Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) Ohio

NRCS has allocated $2,601,300 in financial assistance to protect Ohio farmland through the 2004 Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP). The Request for Proposals ended on May 3rd. Two applicants submitted 22 proposals requesting $3,064,402.
