Eligibility Verification / Submitted Material
This will allow you to check both your eligibility and the update material we have received.
If you are eligible for a promotion board, your name will appear in the database. If your name does not appear, and you believe you are eligible, please contact:

Update Material is any material received by officer promotion section regarding an eligilble officer's record. It can only come from the eligible officer or MMSB, the records keeping branch of HQMC.

All update material sent by an eligible officer must be addressed to the president of the board and include a signed cover letter. The eligible officer can submit any information that he/she feels is important for the board's consideration. This material must be received during normal working hours (1630) the day the board convenes. Update material received after that date is not authorized to be placed before the board and will be returned to the eligible officer.
The promotion board will be provided a copy of the eligible officer's OMPF and MBS (and CRCR for Reserve Boards).
The Update Material Log will be updated from 60 days prior to the board convening until the date the board adjourns. Only officer promotion boards sponsored by MMPR-1 will be available. [SNCO to WO and CWO to LDO boards are sponsored by MCRC. School and Command screening and slating boards are sponsored by MMOA. SNCO promotions are sponsored by MMPR-2.]
