The Naval Aviation Technical Information Product program is part
of the Aircraft Tactical Manual (AIR TACMAN) program revitalization
effort. NATIPs contain the technical information and limitations
that are the foundation for the tactics. The NATIP products, together
with NATOPS, make up the permanent flight clearance source for a platform.
The
Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization manuals contain
aircraft limitations, technical data, standardized operating procedures,
and training requirements necessary for safe and effective operation of
the aircraft model or aviation support activity. The NATOPS products,
together with NATIP, make up the permanent flight clearance source for
a platform.
