If you are aware of fraud, waste, abuse or mismanagement in Department of Commerce programs and operations, report it to the OIG Hotline.

What kinds of things should you report?

Alleged/suspected wrongdoing by Department of Commerce employees, contractors, grantees, recipients of financial assistance, and others involved in the Department’s programs and operations.

Whether reporting allegations via on-line complaint form, mail, telephone, or in person, the OIG will not disclose the identity of the employee without the consent of the employee, unless the IG determines such disclosure is unavoidable during the course of the investigation. Your identity will be kept confidential unless you state it may be disclosed.
