Breath of Life, 2001. (Created by the National Library of Medicine in collaboration with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; and the National Institute of Environmental Sciences.)
A highly interactive program that incorporates digital video, audio, 2D graphics and advanced three dimensional graphics and animations to show the entire scope and content of the Breath of Life exhibit on asthma, which opened on March 22 1999 in the rotunda and lobby of the National Library of Medicine. Over two hours of full-screen, full-motion video can be navigated from the single DVD disc.
