Focus On
2004 National Fraud Awareness Conference

As part of our ongoing commitment to financial stewardship, OIG was a sponsor of the 2004 National Fraud Awareness Conference held in Seattle, Washington June 7 - 10, 2004. The meeting, which focused on fraud prevention, detection and prosecution in the federal highway and transit programs, was also sponsored by AASHTO, FHWA, FTA, the American Public Transportation Association, and Washington State Department of Transportation. Keynote speakers included Federal Highway Administrator Mary E. Peters and Inspector General Kenneth M. Mead.
