SACRAMENTO DIVISION JUDGE REASSIGNMENTS
(Effective through October 31, 2004)
Effective August 30, 2004, all pending chapter 7 cases ending in an even number
(e.g., 04-24502, 04-24544, 04-24596 , etc.) and the related adversary proceedings that
are assigned in Department B, Judge McKeag presiding, will be transferred to Department
A, Judge McManus presiding. Judge McKeag will retain those currently assigned chapter 7
cases ending in an odd number and the related adversary proceedings.
Further, on August 30, 2004, all pending chapter 13 cases currently assigned to
Department A, Judge McManus presiding, where Jan Johnson is the chapter 13 trustee,
will be transferred to Department B, Judge McKeag presiding. Any new chapter 13 cases
filed on or after August 30, 2004 will be assigned randomly to Judge McManus or Judge
McKeag and Lawrence Loheit will be the chapter 13 trustee when Judge McManus is assigned
and Jan Johnson will be the chapter 13 trustee when Judge McKeag is assigned.
Cases assigned to Judge Klein are unaffected by these changes.

EDC 5-100, Notice of Electronic
Availability of Bankruptcy Case Filing Information, Amended.
On August 2, 2004, the E-Government Act of 2002, Pub. L. No. 107-34, was amended
to provide an additional method for dealing with redacted documents. As a result,
EDC 5-100, Notice of Electronic Availability
of Bankruptcy Case File Information, has been amended to permit the filing of a
