The Navy's Environmental Quality
Initiative (EQI) is a comprehensive initiative focused on maximizing the use of pollution
prevention to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations. The EQI is a
fundamental part of the Navy environmental strategy called AIMM to SCORE - Assess,
Implement, Manage and Measure to achieve Sustained Compliance and Operational Readiness
through Environmental Excellence.
