Mission: The Office of Military Competitions mission is to advise the Chief, National Guard Bureau, establish policy and guidance for the administration of competitive sports and integrate competition activities Guard wide, starting at the novice level, that support opportunities for National Guard Army/Air athletes.

ChalleNGe Mission: To intervene in the life of an at-risk youth and produce a program graduate with the values, skills, education and self-discipline necessary to succeed as an adult.

STARBASE Mission: To raise the interest and improve the knowledge and skills of at-risk youth in math, science, and technology by exposing them to technological environments and positive role models found on military bases and installations.
