National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) helps low income, uninsured, and underserved women gain access to lifesaving screening programs for early detection of breast and cervical cancers.


2004/2005 Cancer Fact Sheets

Program Fact Sheets include facts about the disease, CDC's efforts to reduce the disease burden, and descriptions of funded program activities. Registry Plus™ — Software Programs for Cancer Registries

Registry Plus™, a suite of publicly available free software programs for collecting and processing cancer registry data, is now available online. These software programs, compliant with national standards, are made available by CDC to  implement  the National Program of Cancer Registries, established by Public Law 102-515. The Registry Plus™ Suite Abstract Plus, Prep Plus, CRS Plus, Online Help, Link Plus, and Utility Programs can be used separately or together for routine or special data collection.
