The central Government Printing Office has
streamlined the way we serve our customers.
Agency Publishing Services (APS) Teams have
been created to better serve you.
An APS team is comprised of 5-6 technical
experts. Each team is assigned to handle
all requirements for printing and related
services for a particular customer from start
to finish. APS teams will consult with customers
to determine the best approach to fulfilling
needs. They will handle the entire process
including determining which procurement vehicle
to utilize, writing specifications, obtaining
bids or quotes, selecting contractor, contract
administration, and quality assurance.
Our
teams will work to develop close relationships
with customers and create an environment
where customers can feel confident their
needs will be met in a timely manner at
the required level of quality. In addition,
APS teams will work with the industry to
determine better and more cost effective
means of fulfilling customer needs.
Our teams are
managed by three directors who have
considerable years of experience in
the industry. Under their capable guidance
and leadership, the work is processed
cradle-to-grave in the team environment
so that the teams function as a "one
stop shop" for anything the customer
needs.
