The
Foundation provides grants for the support of research and
education relating to AIDS in the developing world.
The Foundation also makes awards to facilitate information
exchange and to assist developing countries to undertake
unique approaches in response to the AIDS pandemic.
The Foundation is administered jointly by the Fogarty
International Center (FIC) of the National Institutes of
Health (NIH) and the Pasteur Institute in Paris,
France. As of 1998, the Foundation no longer accepts
unsolicited applications.
