There will be no fee greater than $30. Sponsors were permitted to set their annual enrollment fee between $0 and $30. Individuals applying for the $600 credit cannot be required to pay the enrollment fee upon filing an application; those individuals applying for the drug discount card only may be required to pay the enrollment fee with their application, or the sponsor will bill them after they are enrolled. You should ask the individual sponsor about how and when you will have to pay the enrollment fee. Sponsors can choose the forms of payment it will accept (e.g., check, money order, credit card). A beneficiary can pay the enrollment fee, or another individual or entity may pay the enrollment fee on behalf of the individual.
